PASTOR MARK

Pastor Mark Chambers is originally from Arlington, Ohio and grew-up in the Wharton Church of God in Wharton, Ohio.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana and his Master of Divinity from Winebrenner Theological Seminary in Findlay, Ohio.  Before coming to Shawnee in June 2000, he served as youth pastor and then senior pastor at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Benton Ridge, Ohio.  He was ordained as a pastor within the Great Lakes Conference of the Churches of God, General Conference in 2001.  He and his lovely wife Jennie have two sons, Micah and Zach (see below).  In his spare time, Mark is always up for a bad game of golf, a good day of fishing with his boys, a strong cup of coffee, and a big dish of ice cream.
